A one-night sleep study, in the comfort and privacy of your own home, provides us with important information about your night's sleep.
Your Sleep Study Appointment
On the day of your sleep study appointment, a RANA clinician will:
- Demonstrate how to use the portable sleep recorder
- Ensure you are comfortable using the recorder and answer and questions you may have
After your appointment, you will take the recorder home to use while you sleep in your own bed. The recorder needs to be returned to RANA’s office the next morning.

Your Sleep Study Results
Your sleep study data will be interpreted by a physician experienced in sleep disorders (Respirologist or Sleep Specialist).
A RANA healthcare professional will meet with you to review your test results, discuss your diagnosis and treatment options, and then send a report to your family physician.
