Identifying the Fundamentals Required to Address the Risk, Including:

of The Refuge Station
- The Maximum
Number of Occupants
- The Maximum
Time to Execute Rescue
- The Acceptable
levels of Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen in an Emergency
Identifying The Most Appropriate Alternative of Providing the Respirable
Air, From the Following Options:
- The Dead
Air Space in the Refuge Station
- The Mine's
Compressed Air Lines
- The Refuge
One Air Centre
Don't wait for a fatality to be the reason to take action. With
the information that is now available, a fatal incident should not be
required to be the impetus for the implementation of a process of assessing
the risk, evaluating the need, and taking the action required, that will
